I’d add “A Walk in the Woods” by Bill Bryson, which tells the tales and adventures of Bill Bryson and his friend as they attempt to walk the Appalachian Trail. It is inspring, and cautionary!
Thanks, Christine! I’ll add it to the rest of the post soon.
Really so flattered to see Blistered on this list! Thank you Tanya!
So glad you are flattered! That’s what this post is all about: celebrating the books we love, not the ones people tell us to love. Naturally, I now want to read all of these books, including Blistered.
A Walk in the Woods is awesome, and funny!
I’ll definitely have to put it on my reading list, then!
Ooh. Thanks for this great list. I’ve read a few of these books. I loved Rowing to Latitude and A Walk in the Woods. Deep Survival is next on my list!
You’re welcome! Let me know if you’d have any to add!
